Hi guys,
I'm sure everyone knows that ranking for questions is a great way to be found and get targeted prospects. I just wanted to share a tip I just heard about - I haven't tried this yet but it apparently works like gangbusters and is simple to do.
Here it is:
Anytime you want to rank for a question - make sure that you add a question mark to the phrase and when you put it in your page title.
That's it.
I've heard that having the question mark can often make the difference and push you over others who have optimized for the same keyword without the question mark. It's worth a test - let me know how it works for you.
On a side note...
Think of just about any keyword that is prefixed with "how to". You can also throw "where to" and "when to" "why you should" content for the same keywords and get a totally different segment.
Great idea, Mike. I've never tried the question for a title.
I used to sit around for hours doing keyword research for "how to" related phrases just looking for ideas. Some of those questions out there are gold minds if you find and rank for the right ones.
