Hi John,
I've been getting theses FB alerts saying "Your App Has Hit The API Rate Limit" .. and when I click on the page it takes me to a "facebook for developers" page.. I've attached a screenshot of the details on that page. This stuff goes over my head.. i have no idea what this all means.. are you able to shed any light to what may be happening? .. with thx :~)
Hey Dino,
I'm not sure what that is. I intentionally avoided creating any FB apps in MMM 4 because the issues tend to be over most people's heads when they occur. What Facebook apps do you have set up? Nothing attached.

Hey Dino,
What kind of FB app have you set up? Is this a comment app?
Regardless, it sounds like it's a bug taking place at FB over the last few days. Here is a discussion about it: https://developers.facebook.co.....397034403/
Let me know if it doesn't resolve.

Thx for that link John.. I can't even remember when & why I set up an app.. how do I establish that?
I just want to make sure it's not creating conflicts with the funnel & supporting ads I currently live with..
You would need to login to your developers area and look at your apps. The info should be associated with each app. I'm guessing this is an old Facebook comment app. My assumption would be that if your site is running as it should be and comments are working then you are fine. But you'd need to look at any apps you have set up. You could also post in the FB support forum if this really concerned you. But my guess is that this is associated with the bugs they are experiencing and it will go away on it's own. I could be wrong.

I'm not using any FB apps at the moment and things change a lot in there, so I would need to click around to be certain, but this should help from FB: https://www.facebook.com/help/.....6655898243
You just want to go to your apps.
If you are not using the FB comments anymore there should not be an issue. Just remove the plugin and consider removing the app from FB. If you are using them, then you would want to contact FB's support forum to see if this is in fact a bug. In the meantime, monitor your site and make sure comments are still working.
