Hi
So I have been making music with a singer for a few years now, we have about ten tracks all polished and ready to roll, we have a video that has almost been finished. Unfortunately I live in Bristol UK and she lives in London so gigs don't happen often, neither of us are very savvy with social media, so the question is where do we start to even think about fans? Think our Facebook has about fifty likes? Really appreciate any advice.
Hey Jonny,
Have you gone through Music Marketing Manifesto 4.0? That is by far the best place to start in my opinion. The basic strategy is to build a squeeze page and offer people free music in exchange for signing up to your list. From there you use email automation and blog content to create interest and desire. Once you've done that you can begin monetizing that relationship through music sales, tickets, and merch.
Having trouble with your marketing? Wish you could have an experienced direct-to-fan marketing expert look over your actual campaigns, music, or content and offer feedback? Or perhaps you’re just looking for a little one-on-one assistance so you can ask questions that pertain to your specific goals and get a second, more experienced, perspective?
