I finally have my squeeze page and autoresponder up.

A couple of things I'm wondering about. The image I used is a bit large and I'm wondering if it loads quickly enough. On my sign up form I say "Join the email list"  - I'm not sure about that wording. (I'll probably do a split test soon.)  Any other feedback would be great too. . Thanks.

The page loaded up fast for me, no issues with the image size at all.

My only concern is that the image drew my attention so entirely that I had to force myself to turn and look for your optin area. You may want to test a smaller image because it may be less of a distraction?

I agree that the "Join the email list" isn't much of a call to action; people don't want the email list (it's the delivery mechanism) - they want the freebie. I'd test "Sign up for your free download" or even just "Get your free download" as alternatives.

You're off to a great start - now just test and tweak!

I agree with Mike, the body got my attention so well that I didn't really see the opt in form without looking for it. I think some kind of a red arrow or something (maybe hand drawn), pointing at the box would help.

I like the new call to action on the bottom much better. I usually use things like "download now", or "download artist name's new single now," or something along those lines. But you are certainly on your way. See how it converts and test one thing at a time.

I agree on the picture issue, but also want to add, "nice headline and copy." Smile

Thanks for the feedback. I tweaked it a little and I'm doing a split test with the star sign up form and an arrow on the sign up form. I'm going to keep the large image for now and see how it does.

Hi Annie,

I didn't see your first sign up form, but I like the new one you have up now. The page didn't take long to load, but what was cool was that the sign up form loaded first so my attention was focused on that. A few seconds later the rest of the page loaded, but my mind was already fixed on the sign up form. I Don't know if that was intentional or not, but it worked!

What would a jam session with Gordon Lightfoot, Collective Soul, and Damien Rice sound like?

Check out Greg Parke and you’ll have a pretty good idea!
