I'm getting a band I work with set up, but we've run in to a problem.
They are using PayPal IPN for another website(s), and can't connect it with Aweber.
How do alternatives work with Aweber in order to move subscribers to a new list after they purchase?
I have started using Stripe for another online project, and it seems to work well, I just haven't figured out the process for moving subscribers after purchase.
Any advice appreciated,
Tony
Hi Tony,
Steve here. My apologies, but I'm not following. I would think using the IPN you can link paypal to as many sites as you need to. Is there any reason why you can't link it to Aweber?
Let us know and we'll try to help.
I can't actually log in to his PayPal, so I can't see exactly what he's seeing.
Me hen I log in to my paypal, it does look like I can connect more than one Api, but he says he has more than one connected and he can't connect anymore.
He is actually going to start a new PayPal account just for this project.
Hey Tony,
Like Steve, I would think that he shouldn't have an issue linking multiple sites. But perhaps it's a question for Paypal or Aweber.
Aweber integrates with quite a few payment options. I don't believe Stripe is one of them as they are still more of a developers option than a general consumer option. I can't remember the details but I know I looked into it a while back and there was an issue without custom coding a few things. But check the Aweber app integration for more options.
