Hi everyone,

I've recently been doing a lot of testing with my FB ads, and I've now got the conversion rates at just over 30%.

Next I need to work on my funnel a bit.
My question is, what kinds of percentages should I see in regards to sales? In other words, if I get 20 subscribers, how many of those should buy something?

I appreciate the help.

Cheers,

Elmo

Hey Elmo,

Well done on doing the work and driving your conversion rate up over 30%.

Sales conversion rates can vary a LOT. I have seen everything from 1% to 30%. But 4 - 6% seems to be about the average for an artist who has a half decent funnel. When an artist tours a lot and has a 'real world" relationship with their fans, that conversion number tends to go way up. That is when we see those 20% and up conversion rates. At least that is what I've seen. But 10% is not unheard of from an online list.

OK. Thanks for the info. I suspected something along those lines, and I do have a bit of tweaking to do.

Hey Elmo,

Congrats on an over 30% squeeze page rate, big step! Would you mind sharing the link to your squeeze page and your targeting info? Just for me to see another example of a successful squeeze page, but totally understood if not.

Thanks man,

Brian

Hi Brian,

Here are the squeeze pages: http://www.elmojk.net/fb/ and http://www.elmojk.net/us/

The first is targeting people in the UK and Ireland who like instrumental rock, and the second people in the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand who like the same thing. I noticed that slightly different things work for the UK compared to the US.

Cheers,

Elmo

Well done Elmo, thanks for sharing.

I like seeing those differences between what those 2 audiences like.

Are you using FB ads? If so would you mind sharing a screen shot?

Cheers,

Brian

Hey Elmo,

What did you find worked in the US that didn't work in the UK, or visa versa. In my experience UK audiences are a bit more cynical than US audiences. At least when it comes to advertising. What are you finding?

Hi guys,

Sorry for the delay. Been busy with other stuff.

I'm also finding that UK audiences are a bit more cynical. They don't respond as well to hypey stuff, and the humour that works for them is different.

I am using FB ads, but I'm not sure what it is you want screenshots of?

I was hoping for a screenshot of your most successful ad. Thank you

I'll have to get back to you on that Brian, as I have about 58 tabs open at the moment, because of a Wordpress problem that's driving me nuts.

Sorry.
