Hey John,

I'm setting up a purchase page for my cds. I'd like to offer a few options and discounts. I can't find in the forum where you discuss how to do this.

My thought was to create 3 options: single cd, 2 cds or cd bundle and offer a bigger discount for multiple purchases.

To set this up I just need to do it through paypal, correct? Each of the options on the page would link to a different paypal page? Then, deliver the content in a zip file via amazon aws?

Is there any advantage to going thru clickbank and seeing if I can get affiliates to sell it? Or is there another way to do payment processing that would be more advantageous?

There are different ways you can do it. Paypal is a pretty universal (and pay as you use) solution. I use 1shoppingcart for the most part. Both will allow you to create a drop down with different options and you could do it that way, but i prefer different buttons for each product. I feel that it's clearer that way, and a little easier. I wouldn't go through CB for music. Maybe your meditation product. They charge 9% which is high. You might find a few affiliates for meditation but I really wouldn't expect it from music. I'm not a fan of the CB affiliate crowd either. There are some good people, but most are just discount seakers.

I deliver the product through the welcome email of the customer list. If you go with Paypal you can integrate with Aweber. This is covered in MMM 3.0.

I'll check out 1shoppingcart. I'd like to offer single cds (mp3s) as well as bundled discounts...

I'd honestly just start with Paypal to keep your expenses down. Get a shoppingcart later and just get this thing going. Is this for your music or your meditation program? I would usually recommend limiting the main offer to just one thing and then offering the bigger package as an upsell. Sometimes I do it differently, but on average the less you ask a person to decide on, the better.

ok good to know. it was for music but applies to both. My concern with paypal for the meditation program was dealing with chargebacks. I've only had one so far but I liked the insurance policy of clickbank dealing with them. That said, have you heard of putler? Looks like it's an app that makes refunds in paypal super easy. Also, will only offering paypal limit my sales?

I've never tested it but I've seen studies by others that showed that sales didn't change at all regardless of using Paypal or Credit Cards. I'm not sure how PP handles charge backs. I couldn't imagine that it would be too massive of an ordeal. The huge majority of people to order through Paypal will be using their accounts so chargebacks won't be how the issue would be handled. I would really just go with the easiest solution to start and not spend another cent on solutions. You have what you need. make some sales and then change things up as you feel necessary based on conversion rates and the customer flow.

ok well then I'll just stick with clickbank for meditation because that's all set up and I"d need to change out all the links on the sales pages... I'll stick with paypal for music...
