Hi John, hope you are doing fantastic man.
I have a lyric video I'm just throwing on Youtube so I can use it in a blog post with little hassle. I find my self stressing over the name of the video, but I just want to post it and move on. I guess I feel dumb just naming the video after the song, if I can name it something that might get better search results while I'm at it y'know?... What do you suggest man?
(I attached the song just in case)
I wouldn't stress the Google friendliness of your song titles. It's possible I said something contrary in some very old IC lessons as 5 or 6 years ago I used to think more like that, but I don't anymore. The real gains will come from engaging with your existing audience and promoting the video with ads Use a name that serves your brand and don't worry about anything else.
On the creative side, it is a whimsical story-telling song so a quirky longish title seems like it would be fitting. But you could just as easily go with phrases from the song like "everyone's afraid" or "Pre-Faded Jeans."
