Feeling discouraged - why are shirts so hard to sell?

I'm really confused. I have absolutely no trouble selling albums at this point, but followup products are just literally impossible for me to sell. It's bizarre. On an email selling shirts, clickthrough on my main list is 30% open, 10% click. On my customer list, it's 67% open, 35% click. These should be more than good enough to get at least ONE sale, I would think, but...nope. People are clearly interested based on those stats, but it just doesn't convert.

I'm just really confused and frustrated - if I could even get like a 5% conversion rate on these it would spike my ROI through the roof. I wish I could figure it out Cry

The offer looks really good. I just think that selling T shirts is one of the hardest things to sell. My personal take is that people are happy to support a band, but just don't really feel like they need a short unless they are extremely devoted and/or see you live. Have you tried a different offer? You're right though... I would have expected at least a sale or two.

Could it be all the buttons?

What if you changed the order button to a drop down menu.

People aren't used to seeing multiple buttons for a band shirt... and they might be confused into thinking that they have to make a tonne of decisions about something.

It's also kinda hard to exactly see the shirt. 

How about a digital "mock up" of the shirt so you can see it, followed by the photos of you and the singer actually wearing it?

I totally missed that it said free shipping the first time I scrolled through. Add "This shirt can be yours with free shipping" or something in the caption for the photo - I read that people read headlines, followed by image captions... THEN the text on the page (if they read it).

Too many order buttons.

You can create a single button with a drop down and even have paypal manage your inventory, just make sure you update it after gigs.

I've done this with shirts too, and they are hard to sell online.

Also if I cancel out of the Tshirt order, paypal takes to two your step 1 confirmation page, rather than back to the offer.

Thanks so much for the help everyone! I took those changes onboard and updated the page - mind telling me what you think now? Won't have any way to know if the conversions actually increase as a result until I can run more traffic through here, but it never hurts to be prepared 🙂 

The only potential problem, I can't seem to get the dropdown menu centered. I can move the order button center obviously, but the menu stays on the left no matter what I do. I'm hoping the left-aligned menu isn't too obnoxious for people and I can get away with it, but if anyone knows if there's some kind of special trick to centering a dropdown, please let me know!

in the customize...under additional CSS

Then on the page, 
Put your form in a DIV

</div>

 

BUT - make sure you check all your other forms to see if there is any weirdness.

So sorry for the lack of reply. We switched servers last week and I just discovered that I have not been getting email notifications ever since. Did not see this until just now. 

I think it looks better now. I think all of Sam's comments are valid, but my personal opinion is that the biggest issue is that shirts are a hard sell online.
