Hi John,
So I set up my 3 ads- I thought the same as when I did it before, when it all worked. But alas they were not approved and facebook very annoyingly doesn't say why. It just says they weren't approved (in the email they sent they say 'they don't comply with our advertsising policies) I've attached a screen shot. It says a little underneath 'create a rule' (can't quite remember what this is!) but it doesn't seem to be related to the fact it wasn't approved unless I am mistaken.
Also, even though I've put in various 'news link feed descriptions' in my dynamic creative boxes, they don't appear in the preview.
Any ideas why the above 2 might be happening?
Thank you,
Karen
PS I've also asked facebook the above questions. But last time I asked them a question, I didn't get a reply .... :/
Thanks
Hi Karen,
It's hard for me to say without being in your ad manager. Whenever I have an ad that is not approved it says why in my ads manager. But I can't recall exactly where I find that message without clicking around. If you have reviewed their terms of service and feel like they have disapproved your ad for no reason, you can appeal here: https://www.facebook.com/help/.....6/?ref=u2u
If you post a screen shot of the actual ad I might be able to spot something.
The only other option is to ask FB. I have always received a response so I'm not sure what to tell you on that one.

Thanks John, I have been talking to Facebook people and getting there! They are approved but I paused them after a they had already gone out, as the link descriptions weren't showing up which I am asking facebook about. Do you think I should set up totally fresh ads now that I've started them and paused them? Is this one of the things that confuses the algorithm in some way?
Thanks :).
Not usually, if it's a brand new ad without a lot of history. I don't usually edit anything if the ad has been running for a while.
Link descriptions do not show up in certain ad types. For example, mobile. You can view the different potential displays in your editor. There is a little arrow set in the top left corner of your ad display window.
Keep us posted.
