Hey All,
I just started some Facebook advertising and had an idea that I thought I should share...I'm running right-hand column ads only and bidding on clicks. I noticed that some ads are getting clicks other than to my website and I'm thinking those can only be on the page name and sending people to my Facebook page. Since, as John might say, I don't want any holes in my net, what I did was make a post to drive traffic to my squeeze page (mine says something like "Did you download "Only Sunshine" my original take on the Bill Wither's classic "Ain't No Sunshine" yet? You can still get it free at http://jamisonmusic.com/only_sunshine!") and then, and this is the important part, I pinned it to the top of my page, which just means that no matter how much I post, that post will stay at the top of my page so anyone that happens there will see it first. You can pin a post to the top by making the post and then going to the drop down at the top left and the first option is "Pin to Top" and it will do it and put a little gold ribbon on the post so you know it's worked.
Hope this helps and good luck everybody!
Jamison is taking the preconceived notion of the typical soul singer/songwriter and blasting it to bits! Check out his inventive brand of Indie Soul at http://www.jamisonmusic.com.
Awesome tip David. I had no idea that existed. Really good idea.
