Hey everyone, I'm just starting to experiment with FB graph search and I'm running into a frustrating limitation. Say I want to find people who like the "Collective Concerts" concert promoter page. When I enter "people who like Collective Concerts", or "people who like the page Collective Concerts", I get a couple of posts in the Top tab but under the People tab there are no results. How can this be when the Collective Concerts page has over 10K likes?
Any suggestions for how to run my search query are welcome!
Tam

So weird... it works for me now too. Yesterday I got it to work only if I used the search term "people who follow Collective Concerts", but it wouldn't work for "people who like Collective Concerts". Anyway, problem mysteriously solved, thanks for your help 🙂
Next question: any recommendations on the best program for scraping Facebook user IDs? I have come across a few but not sure which to go with--any suggestions welcome.
http://adespresso.com/home2/ ($49/month with other FB ad management options)
http://www.uidextractor.com/af/ ($49 one time fee, I think)
There's also the one suggested in the FB graph search training forum thread: http://fbgraphscraper.com/jvzoo-sale/, but I'm not clear on what option to choose (screen shot attached).
Thanks for your input!
Facebook recently changed their terms and conditions and no longer allow you to upload user IDs unless they were gathered from users using an app of yours. Their language is something along the lines of (and I'm paraphrasing here), you are only allowed to upload User IDs or email addresses for users that consented in some way for you to have their information. There are still tools that can convert those IDs into email addresses, but they all look like this username@facebook.com, so it will be very obvious to FB that you are using scraped IDs. I believe people are doing this, and still getting away with it. But I don't think it's worth getting in trouble. If you want to risk it you can get someone to scrape and convert on Fiverr for $5. But I'm staying away from that technique and am just uploading email addresses of those on my list.
