Has anyone used the Bandsintown Promoter tool to promote their gigs?

It looks like there may be a $150 minimum to use it... just curious if anyone has found it effective for increasing audience sizes at shows. Looks like it could be a good tool for promoting to active concertgoers.

Thanks!

I have not, nor have I heard anything about it. I'm skeptical but happy to be proven wrong. If you give it a try, please come back and let us know how it works for you.

Will do -- I'll attach a photo of the email they'll send out. I did all the creative (for better or worse! lol), but it's in a template style that's easy to use.

I targeted 3,000 people -- most of whom are ani difranco fans signed up to get notified of her live shows, as well as some Ali Handal fans and some fans of an artist named Willie Nile, who I'm opening for in NY.

I'm hoping it brings people out to the 2 NY shows I'm promoting, but also hoping that more people sign up to follow me on "BandsInTown," as well as find me on Spotify or wherever they listen to music.

They say their open rate is 16-20% and their CTR is 4-6%. Not astounding numbers, but I'm curious and I have a coupon... so I'll try it once and let you know how it goes...

For the attached screen shots -- I couldn't fit the whole email into one screen shot, so I took two shots.Screen-Shot-2018-03-15-at-4.31.29-PM.pngImage EnlargerScreen-Shot-2018-03-15-at-4.31.38-PM.pngImage Enlarger

I'm a big fan of trying any reasonable advertising opportunity. I'm still skeptical about the ROI, but I think it's totally worth trying. If it works you have a great tool for the future, if not, it didn't cost that much to give it a shot. Good luck.
