Hey man, this question doesn't have to do with this thread, just posting here to separate it out.

Couple house cleaning ?s

1. If  I ad a new message to an Aweber follow up series to be sent 1 day after the prior message, does it send it out right away if I'm adding the message like a few days after originally created the follow up series?

2. If I change my ad creative it automatically destroys the social proof on the ad right? (or can I even change the ad creative after setting it going?)

Thanks John, hope you are fantastic!

Hey Brian,

I went ahead and started a new topic for this. if you don't mind, whenever you have a new question just start a new thread. That way others are more likely to see and find the question when searching and more people benefit.

To answer your questions...

1. If you add a new follow up to a series it goes out pretty quickly unless you have a time range specified for the message. It's not immediate but it seems to be within an hour. Sometimes sooner. It does seem like you have a little time to edit it in the event that you publish a message and then realize you want to change it. But I'm not certain of the rhyme or reason.

2. It used to be different, but it seems that just about any change to an ad triggers a new one and you lose all social proof. It used to be that you could create a similar ad in a new campaign and as long as you did not touch the creative you wouldn't lose anything. I had noticed that this stopped being the case a while back but they have made some changes recently to the "create a similar ad" feature and I'm not sure if that has changed anything back to the way it was or not. What I have started doing is posting an ad that I am pretty sure I'll want to run for a while on my Facebook page and then I just select "existing post" from within ad creation. That way I never lose anything when I change up targeting. The only drawback is that you can't change creative. So for this reason I usually experiment with regular ads first until I know I have a winner and then repost that winner on my page the next time I want to edit it. But if you find out that your comments carry over when selecting "create similar ad" let us know. I'm not positive where that feature is at at the moment.
