Hey guys, I'm really curious what kind of conversion rates everyone is seeing. I tend to see between 4% - 6% of the total number of subscribers buying albums with 15% - 40% going for the upsell (totally depends on the uspell and how warm the list is). This seems to be the average of most of the artists I've worked with who have a decent handle on this stuff. The highest I ever see is about 10%.
As for opt-in conversion rates, those are all over the charts. But I can usually hit 30% without too much trouble. Sometimes Facebook ads will be a bit lower because targeting tends to be a bit broad, but I can still usually hit 25%, and will occasionally settle for 20% with FB ads.
It seems to be that people are either clicking with this stuff and seeing sales on par with, or better than, industry averages, or they are not clicking with this stuff (or taking enough action) and they are getting very little in the way of results. Just thought I'd start a thread and see what was "normal" for most of you in here at the moment.
No need for a long reply, just post your average conversion rates if you don't mind so people can see what others are experiencing.
