I just realized that many people were not aware of the advanced Twitter search option and thought I'd share the link: https://twitter.com/search-advanced
It's a pretty cool tool that allows you to search for people in a specific area that are tweeting about a specific keyword. You could then either follow them or even send a direct DM. Fairly handy if you are looking for, say, fans of Bob Dylan that live in San Diego.... Or whatever. You can even add positive and negative attributes to the search to find people who love, or hate something. That opens up a lot of opportunities for creative marketing. especially if you market to people who dislike something.
