Hi everyone (and John),
I'm wondering if anyone has some great headlines for the singer/songwriter genre that work. I like John's "Like alt country?" but fear that "like singer/songwriters?" is too generic (tried it too and it didn't perform as well as I'd like!) I'd be interested though if anyone's had much luck with it!
I keep needing to change headline with each new target audience, which means I lose money testing new headlines each time. So I'm open to all kinds of ideas!
Cheers,
Rachel
Hi Rachel,
Headlines are so varied from artist to artist that it is hard to just offer up generic ideas. What might work better is to post a few headlines that you are working on and get feedback or suggestions on ways to tweak. Be sure to also post a brief description of your music and who you are targeting.
Cheers.

Hi John,
A very slow reply on my part...
I'm trying out a very click-baity style that I've seen on facebook. I'd be interested in your thoughts.

I thought she was just another songwriter. But then she stepped out on stage... This Is Just Breathtaking! FREE DOWNLOAD

"SHEER GENIUS!" Find out why this reviewer threw away his first draft when he heard singer/songwriter Rachel Collis for the first time - FREE DOWNLOAD
Squeeze Headline:
The reviewer arrived with very low expectations. But when Rachel Collis took the stage… “What I found was sheer genius… the versatility and prodigy of Collis’ songwriting!
To give you an idea of style - my writing is very Sarah McLachlan (heartfelt, honest lyrics, very melodic, piano based), but also a bit Kate Bush quirky.
I appreciate your thoughts!
Rachel
Hey Rachel,
I think those are great. How they will do will come down to targeting and a lot of different variables. But I think those are a great start.
Let us know how these go for you. Great job.
